These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Slidescape, a mobile puzzle game, and related online services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Gritron (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. The Service
Slidescape is a single-player and multiplayer grid puzzle game available on supported mobile platforms. Features may include level progression, leaderboards, daily challenges, achievements, cloud save, optional account linking, push notifications, and online multiplayer rooms. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You may play without linking an external account. If you choose to link an account, you may use supported providers such as Google, Google Play Games (Android), Sign in with Apple, or Apple Game Center (iOS), as made available in your region and on your device.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your linked accounts and device.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- Linking an account may enable cloud progress sync across devices signed into the same provider identity.
- We may refuse, suspend, or unlink accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Game progress, scores, and leaderboards
Level progress, scores, stars, leaderboard rankings, and related statistics are stored locally on your device and, when you use linked accounts or online features, on our servers. We do not guarantee permanent retention of any data. Leaderboards and rankings are provided for entertainment only and may be reset, recalculated, or discontinued.
5. Multiplayer and user conduct
When using multiplayer or social features, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against others;
- Use offensive, illegal, or misleading display names or content;
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized automation, or interfere with fair play;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or other users’ data;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service except where permitted by law.
We may investigate violations and take action including warnings, score removal, room restrictions, account suspension, or permanent bans.
6. Virtual items and purchases
Slidescape is primarily a free-to-play game. Any optional in-app purchases, subscriptions, or rewarded advertisements are subject to the applicable app store terms and billing policies. Except where required by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable through us. Virtual progress and items have no real-world monetary value and are not transferable.
7. Advertisements and notifications
The Service may display advertisements (for example, before certain optional features such as hints) and send push or local notifications if you enable them. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings. Ad content is provided by third parties and is subject to their policies.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, artwork, audio, level designs, trademarks, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy. By using account linking or online features, you acknowledge that certain identifiers (such as provider subject IDs, device tokens, gameplay data, and display names) may be processed to operate the Service.
10. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (including Google, Apple, app stores, analytics, and messaging providers). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS (USD $10).
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms or conduct that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes may be communicated through the app or our website. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise. Courts in Istanbul, Türkiye shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring claims in your country of residence.
